Design and analysis from photonic devices through to circuits and links

FDTD and MODE for optical device analysis, Multiphysics for electrical, thermal and semiconductor analysis, INTERCONNECT for circuit and link evaluation, and CML Compiler for compact model generation.

Optical system design, optimization and tolerance analysis

From lens design through to stray light and tolerance studies, the whole workflow runs in a single environment. Design data can be shared directly with the manufacturing and evaluation stages.

Optical simulation for illumination, visibility and sensors

Evaluates everything from the light source to human perception and sensor response using ray-based analysis. It is used for visibility studies of headlamps, HUDs, and display and sensing systems.

A workflow platform for optical and photonics design

It connects the optical specification and phase information from Zemax OpticStudio with a phase-response library generated in Ansys Lumerical, and handles phase-to-geometry mapping, large-scale layout generation and GDS output in a single workflow.
