Where you want to evaluate several design candidates in parallel in the same run
Requirements a standard MPW cannot meet, such as changes to process conditions or prototyping and manufacturing under dedicated conditions, are considered as a Dedicated Run for one specific project. Whether that is possible, and on what conditions, is confirmed per foundry and platform.
How to take part
Design proceeds within the scope of the PDK. A PDK contains the component models, layout information and design rules for the target process, and conformance to the design rules is confirmed before submission.
Confirming the target platform and the run you plan to join.
Signing an NDA, obtaining the PDK and starting the design.
Designing and verifying in line with the design rules.
Submitting the data by the deadline and confirming it with the foundry.
Manufacture on the schedule of the run, and receipt of the chips.
